2 Terms of Sale (Conditions Générales de Vente)
2.1 Object & Scope
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of a perpetual commercial software license for Sprue Generator by any individual or entity (“User”). By purchasing a license, the User agrees to these terms.
2.2 Price & Payment
- The Sprue Generator lifetime license is available as a one-time payment of €5 (EUR).
- Payments are securely processed via Stripe. PicoKeebs does not store any raw credit card numbers or banking credentials.
2.3 Immediate Execution & Right of Withdrawal (Waiver)
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code and European Union consumer regulations:
“Sprue Generator provides instant digital delivery of digital software tools. By finalizing the payment, the User expressly requests immediate access to the export engine and acknowledges the forfeiture of their 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. All digital sales are final.”
2.4 Software Disclaimer & Liability (“As Is”)
- Sprue Generator is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranty of any kind.
- Sprue Generator automates CAD batch array and CSG boolean merging for 3D printing. However, third-party manufacturing platforms (including JLCPCB, PCBWay, Xometry) maintain unilateral discretion over their automated quoting engines and manual review policies.
- PicoKeebs cannot guarantee that third-party vendors will approve or process every generated file as a single-part quote, nor does it assume liability for physical print failures, structural breakaway defects, or manufacturing errors.
2.5 Consumer Dispute Mediation (Médiation de la consommation)
In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, for any unresolved consumer dispute:

2.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any unresolved litigation will fall under the competent French commercial or civil jurisdictions.
3 Privacy Policy (RGPD / GDPR)
3.1 Client-Side Processing Architecture
Zero 3D File Upload: Sprue Generator operates 100% locally within your browser using client-side WebGL and WebAssembly. Your STL files, 3D meshes, and intellectual property never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
3.2 Data Collected
When purchasing a license, the following personal data is processed:
- Customer email address and billing details (handled directly via Stripe to issue activation keys and comply with French accounting standards).
- Purchase and transaction records are retained for statutory accounting periods (10 years under French law).
3.3 Cookies & Tracking
- Sprue Generator uses no marketing, profiling, or third-party tracking cookies.
- Local storage (
localStorage) is strictly utilized for technical functionality (e.g., retaining license activation keys on your device). Therefore, no cookie consent banner is legally required under CNIL / EU regulations.
